Movement in Communication 

Focused on awareness of movement, the program is aimed at business professionals

What is it? Creating a link between the body and mind, a workshop based on the Alexander Technique to increase physical memory and body awareness; aims to develop the scope of awareness upon center of gravity, axis, balance, breathing techniques, focusing, coordination and muscle utility. Involves postural analysis and creates awareness of efficient use of our bodies in daily life. 

In this workshop movement is regarded as a personal journey and the purpose is to provide a realization that the body is a much richer instrument then is assumed. It is important that the individual frees up his/her body and mind, also discovers his/her potential. 

Methodology Aims to develop capabilities of coordination of the body as the most vital instrument of communication, with regards to aerobic stamina, built on cardiovascular, muscular and sustainability principles, increasing the condition and spinal via strengthening the core area flexibility.

Technique In FreeFlow Dance Workout;

Movement routines and improvisation techniques based on Alexander Technique and Laban Efforts are applied. 

Main Topics:

– Postural Analysis and Anatomical Awareness  

– Expression and communication by Gestures 

– Physical Thinking 

How The importance of free expression of the body is emphasized over specific techniques and releasing oneself to a flow without any judgments. 

The workshop capacity is 10 persons max. and no prior dance background is required.
